100 Debates on the Environment

100 debates on the Environment has a simple mission: to make the environment an issue that no party and no candidate can ignore by organizing more than 100 inclusive, politically neutral, and environment-focused all-candidates debates in communities across Canada.
The debates will create a forum where voters can hear directly from candidates about their visions for the environment. They will create accountability for elected leaders and spur meaningful government action towards a sustainable future.
This project is made up of national non-profits, businesses, citizens' groups, high schools and universities, individuals and many others.

Extinction Rebellion: Global Rebellion
Monday, October 7, 2019 - 9am-4pm
Come save the world!
Rebellion will begin first thing in the morning on October 7th. Join XR Rebels around the world and across Canada to disrupt business as usual. Exact times and details for the Toronto action TBA, but you can expect to be involved in a major disruption planned in such a way that there are higher-risk activities (like blocking roads) and safe options for families and others.

Join us for our chapter's 2019 AGM. We're thrilled to have Sabrina Bowman, executive director of GreenPAC as our featured guest speaker.
GreenPAC exists to address the most serious challenge the environmental sector faces: translating Canadians’ environmental concerns into political action. It's a non-partisan, non-profit organization working to elect and support environmental leaders of all major parties running for office.
Sabrina will tell us all about GreenPAC, how they endorsed 25 federal candidates and their wildly popular 100 Debates on the Environment.
